The Twisted Spoon Café is a community-based initiative of the Nelson & District Youth Centre run by, and for, youth. The café is an ongoing opportunity for youth to gain training and experience in areas such as the service industry, small business, food sustainability, crime prevention awareness, and community food distribution. In addition, we aim to establish a self-sustaining not-for-profit business that further benefits the youth of Nelson and area while providing a valuable service to the entire community. We use quality local, organic foods. Whenever possible.
